Vale has put a LOT of effort into documenting the new resurgence of interest in all aspects of swing. After he put it all in this book, he threw a fantastic party for all of us that are living the "scene". After choosing the perfect venue for this (Bimbo's 365 Club), getting the best DJ (Spencer), and bringing lots of copies of the book for sale and raffle, Vale did the only thing he could to make it better. He made it FREE! Thanks again Vale for a great party!
